Social Responsibility

When it comes to social responsibility, we shall not tell you that we plan to change the world at large, but we do what we can for the betterment of our surroundings. In our modest way, we help in combating poverty and social exclusion and try to educate ourselves and others to live a better and more sustainable life.

Combating local poverty
For years now, some of our executives have been personally involved in combating poverty and its effects in our immediate area. We have shown a constancy of effort which we hope can be felt in the community

Combating social exclusion
With the onset of the illegal immigration problem in the Mediterranean, we have given jobs to people who strived to escape a life of deprivation towards a better life in Europe. But we do not believe it should stop there. At Steel Structures we do not discriminate between the locals and these people. Every individual who shows potential, is trained and upgraded within our ranks, with no care given to race or country of origin.

Environmental sustainability
As mentioned on other pages in this site, our product already offers enormous environmental benefits, but again, we do not believe it should stop there. In our offices as well as factory, we always strive to direct culture towards sustainable living, entrenching schemes promoting recyclability and reusability, and whatever we feel can be of help to our community.
